Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing processes
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring timely setup and breakdown of service stations
- Uphold strict food handling and safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Help with bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Participate in cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining overall kitchen hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or bending
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
