Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits
• Manage POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, intervening when necessary
• Restock bar supplies promptly to ensure smooth service during busy hours; assist with inventory management and ordering as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly

Qualifications

• Proven experience of 1-2 as a bartender in fast paced restaurant establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; hospitality or food service background preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient order processing
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and alcohol serving laws
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during peak hours
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Experience in catering or banquet environments is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for inventory control
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or the food industry is advantageous for diverse beverage offerings
