======Job Description Summary======
The Technician will be responsible for executing and managing various testing scenarios, ensuring accurate data collection, and troubleshooting any issues encountered during testing. This role involves operating and maintaining Linux-based logging systems, planning and executing tests, and preparing detailed reports for the engineering team. The Technician will work closely with drivers and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of all test processes. This position may involve working nights and weekends to finish the assigned tasks.

The position will work indoors the majority of the time and will be exposed to typical temperature and
noise levels maintained in an office environment. The position will work indoors and outdoors and will
be exposed to seasonal weather changes and conditions while working outdoors.
======Physical Demands======
The physical demands of the job will include repetitive motions, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching,
sitting, pulling, lifting, pushing, carrying, walking, being in static position and driving. The position will
require the individual to be able to lift up to 25 lbs. up to 1/3 of the time during a work day.

- Operate Linux-based logging systems for data collection during test scenarios.
- Plan, execute, and monitor various driving test scenarios, ensuring accurate and consistent data capture.
- Schedule test equipment rentals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues during testing.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on test results to the engineering team.
- Assist with GPS setup and calibration of trailers and test vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and testing procedures.
- Maintain professional interactions with clients at all times.
- Collaborate with drivers and team members to achieve testing objectives.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to the improvement of test plans and procedures.
- Adhere to all project timelines and ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Business trips: Approximate testing area distribution is MI: 27%, other U.S. states: 63%, Canada: 10%. Test Scenarios:
- Collecting various sensor data while maneuvering test vehicle in various testing scenarios
- Collecting parking sensor data in different environments (floor type, parking line type, color, etc.)
- Collecting driving data in multiple major cities in the U.S. and Canada with various road conditions; curb, vehicle, stopper, pillar, etc.
- Associate’s Degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Experience with Linux-based systems and data logging.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Organized planner/Attention to detail
- Self-motivated, responsible in work
- Excellent communication skills for preparing and delivering reports.
