Technical Product Owner
Onsite/remote: Hybrid in the following locations (St. Louis, MO -- Dallas/Plano, TX -- Austin, TX --Bloomfield, CT -- Bloomington, MN -- Memphis, TN -- Philadelphia, PA — Morris Plains, NJ)
As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology solutions that support the Specialty Pharmacy area. This role requires strong product ownership, business insight, and technical aptitude to ensure initiatives deliver measurable value and align with enterprise objectives. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring requirements are clear, actionable, and prioritized to drive meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand the “why” behind requests and translate them into actionable requirements and user stories.
- Own a defined product or capability, including roadmap, cost of ownership, and technical health (reliability, scalability, usability, performance, and security).
- Collaborate with engineering, architects, and solution teams to refine requirements, incorporate architectural recommendations, and support product vision.
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature elaboration sessions to ensure the most impactful work is delivered.
- Cultivate trusted relationships with business and technology partners to foster shared understanding and alignment.
- Monitor and communicate KPIs and technical product health, advocating for continuous improvement and reduction of technical debt.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos, ensuring iterative value delivery.
- Utilize agility tools such as Jira to manage workflows, optimize performance, and track team metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in product management, process modeling, and requirements elicitation.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience leading backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product demos.
- Pharmacy operations or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Jira and related Agile tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
