We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in Reno, Nevada. This role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with employer clients, developing strategic employee benefits solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the benefits lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor for a portfolio of employee benefits clients.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of service, retention, and satisfaction.
- Lead annual renewal strategies, including plan design analysis, marketing, carrier negotiations, and renewal presentations.
- Develop and implement employee benefit solutions across:
- Medical
- Dental
- Vision
- Life and Disability
- Voluntary Benefits
- Wellness Programs
- Executive Benefits
- Analyze claims, utilization, benchmarking, and market trends to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct client meetings, stewardship reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal service teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and expanding client relationships.
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance developments, and healthcare regulations.
- Support clients with employee communications, open enrollment strategies, and benefits education.
- Mentor and collaborate with Account Managers and service team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- 5 years of employee benefits brokerage, consulting, or account management experience.
- Strong knowledge of group health, ancillary benefits, and employee benefits strategies.
- Experience managing middle-market and/or large employer clients.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to interpret claims data, financial reports, and market analytics.
- Proven success managing client retention and growth initiatives.
- Nevada insurance license or ability to obtain upon hire.
- CEBS, RHU, GBA, or similar professional designation is a plus.
