Key Responsibilities
- Market and place new and renewal casualty insurance programs, including:
- General Liability
- Umbrella & Excess Liability
- Auto Liability
- Workers' Compensation
- Environmental Liability
- Specialty Casualty lines
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and underwriting partners.
- Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Negotiate coverage terms, pricing, conditions, and endorsements to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Review submissions and prepare comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Evaluate quotes and coverage options, providing recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Stay informed on casualty market trends, carrier appetites, pricing changes, and emerging risks.
- Partner closely with producers, client executives, account managers, and risk advisors throughout the placement process.
- Assist with complex account renewals, new business opportunities, and program restructures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for casualty insurance products and placement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- 5 years of casualty insurance placement, brokerage, underwriting, or related experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial casualty insurance products and coverage structures.
- Established relationships within the insurance carrier marketplace preferred.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex insurance placements.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
- CPCU, ARM, CIC, or other industry designations are a plus.
