About The Job

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced swing shift (2pm to 10:30pm) Shop Mechanic to join our growing team. As an integral part of our operations, you’ll work on a variety of paving projects, contributing to our reputation for excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, dump trucks, pickup trucks and trailers
• Analyze and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures
• Perform welding and fabrication as required
• Identify and order correct parts for repairs
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 Years of automotive, machinery and equipment maintenance experience
• ASE Certification
• Knowledge in diesel and gasoline engines
• Proficiency in automatic and manual transmissions
• Can diagnose, repair and troubleshoot brake systems, drive systems, hydraulic systems and electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Dedicated and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
