Brix Paving Northwest Inc is hiring a skilled Asphalt Milling Operator with lowboy hauling experience to support our public and private paving projects across the Portland metro area. This hands-on role involves operating milling machinery to remove asphalt pavement efficiently and safely, as well as transporting heavy equipment using lowboy trailers. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in roadwork equipment operations. Key Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt milling machines with precision and safety.
• Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Transport heavy machinery and milling equipment using lowboy trailers.
• Communicate with project foremen and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Load and unload machinery safely and within DOT and company guidelines.
• Follow traffic control, environmental, and safety procedures on job sites.
• Work flexible hours to accommodate daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts.
• Contribute to a respectful and team-oriented work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in asphalt grinding operations required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL Class A license with lowboy hauling experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving lowboy trailers preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when needed.
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
