Key Responsibilities
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely through construction zones using approved flagging procedures.
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barricades.
- Communicate clearly with equipment operators, crew members, and the public.
- Remain alert and responsive to changing site conditions at all times.
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, MUTCD, and company safety standards.
- Assist with general job site duties as needed.
- Work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and overtime based on project schedules.
- Valid Flagger Certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Previous flagging or traffic control experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and remain attentive.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
