Core Responsibilities
- Co-develop global strategy for Real Estate Technology
- Define and implement policies & standards
- Own vendor & partner ecosystem
- Evaluate risk, dependencies, and impact
- Manage strategic vs. local vendors
- Advise internal stakeholders (engineering, property mgmt, integrators)
- Identify threats, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities
Day-to-Day Focus
- Strategic planning problem solving
- Vendor risk analysis
- Policy development (cybersecurity infrastructure)
- Cross-functional advising (not hands-on execution)
Technical Requirements
Strong understanding of:
- OT networking
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST preferred)
- Ability to operate in OT IT convergence environments
Not coding-heavy, but:
- Must leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.) heavily
- Systems-level thinking (not siloed IT)
Profile They Want
- ~10 years experience
- Strategic mindset (not just execution)
- Experience in real estate, construction, OT, or infrastructure-heavy environments
- NOT a pure IT person (e.g., identity/access, Exchange admin, etc.)
- Comfortable advising influencing without authority
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
