Director of FP&A | Hybrid | $175,000 to $220,000 Bonus & Benefits
We are partnering with a well established, publicly traded organization seeking a Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. This is a high visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and a strong emphasis on driving insights that influence business decisions.
This role is ideal for someone coming out of a manufacturing environment who understands operational drivers and can translate financial results into a clear, actionable story.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes across the organization
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to drive performance and improve profitability
- Analyze financial results and provide clear insights into key drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Own and enhance financial models, reporting packages, and KPI tracking
- Support month end close from an FP&A perspective, including variance analysis and commentary
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
- Prepare and present materials for executive leadership, including board level reporting
- Lead and develop a team while fostering a high performance, collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10 years of progressive FP&A experience
- Background within a publicly traded company required
- Manufacturing experience required, with strong understanding of operational and cost drivers
- Proven ability to build financial models and deliver actionable insights to leadership
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly tell the story behind the numbers
- Hands on, detail oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel; exposure to BI tools a plus
