Industrial Disassembly Technician
We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Disassembly Technician to support the repair and remanufacturing of industrial equipment. This role focuses on the systematic disassembly of motors, pumps, actuators, and related mechanical components, followed by cleaning and preparation for refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble motors, pumps, actuators, and other industrial machinery components using proper tools and procedures
- Clean parts using acid baths and other approved cleaning methods to remove buildup, corrosion, and contaminants
- Inspect components during teardown and cleaning to identify wear, damage, or defects
- Properly label, organize, and stage parts for repair or remanufacturing
- Follow safety, environmental, and handling procedures when working with chemicals and industrial equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial machinery or components
- Comfort working in a shop environment and handling chemical cleaning processes
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines
- Prior experience in equipment teardown, repair, or remanufacturing is a plus
