Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical service teams across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Oversee electrical system design, schematics review, and blueprint reading to ensure accurate project execution.
- Coordinate project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar tools to optimize resource allocation and meet deadlines.
- Develop detailed construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating software to prepare accurate budgets.
- Manage contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor relationships to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor construction site activities, providing technical guidance on electrical engineering principles and NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, progress tracking, and communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including NEC standards and local building codes.
- Facilitate effective project management by overseeing time management, project coordination, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning by staying current with industry trends in system design, construction management, and electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in construction site management and electrical systems installation.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating, project scheduling (Primavera P6), and construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC standards, blueprints reading, schematics interpretation, and system design principles.
- Strong understanding of contracts administration and project coordination within the construction industry.
- Prior experience managing large-scale electrical projects on-site with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Electrical engineering degree or equivalent technical certification is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
