Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You would help assist Chefs Justin & Chris and learn new skills along the way.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality in meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs as required.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and service.
• Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Experience in meal preparation, including familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
