We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business through outbound prospecting and opportunity creation. This is a high-activity, hunter role focused on breaking into new accounts, building pipeline, and expanding our presence in a largely untapped market.
This is a unique opportunity to introduce a disruptive product into a greenfield territory and play a key role in driving growth.
NY Metro area, inclusive of Northern NJ and Fairfield County, CT
Remote (must reside within territory)
- Identify and prospect high-value restaurant and food service accounts
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)
- Engage decision-makers and schedule discovery meetings
- Conduct early-stage discovery and qualify opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Partner with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities
- 2 years of outbound sales or business development experience
- Proven success generating new business through cold outreach
- Experience selling capital equipment, technical, or manufacturing solutions preferred
- Food service or restaurant industry experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage decision-makers
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- $80,000 – $120,000 base salary
