We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support our Product Integrity organization. The role focuses on assessing current capabilities across apparel and footwear, identifying gaps, and developing solutions to ensure high standards of color, material, and product quality. This position is ideal for someone adaptable, organized, and growth-driven, with expertise in footwear or apparel manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of current apparel and footwear manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
- Identify gaps and implement strategies to improve material and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Partner with engineers, suppliers, and factories to drive compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze data, track performance metrics, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive innovation in materials and manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in product development, quality assurance, or manufacturing (footwear/apparel strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing, dyeing, finishing, printing, and testing.
- Experience across fibers, yarns, knits, wovens, and materials inspection.
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and reporting skills (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Smartsheet, Tableau, or Miro is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results on time.
