Seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to support a fast-paced DTC Allocation team. This role focuses on data-driven inventory allocation, demand planning, and stock optimization to ensure the right product reaches the right location at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandise allocation at style, color, and size level based on demand and performance.
- Plan and manage inventory to meet sales targets and allocation goals.
- Develop weekly flow strategies, including forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Analyze sales data, inventory trends, and store performance to improve allocation accuracy.
- Conduct store segmentation analysis (region, size, seasonality).
- Collaborate with Buying, Planning, and Supply Chain teams.
- Monitor store capacity constraints and inventory productivity.
- Manage product transfers and multi-source inventory flow.
- Communicate inventory insights, risks, and opportunities with stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Inventory Planning / Allocation Planning (2 years).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (data analysis, forecasting, reporting).
- Strong knowledge of retail math and inventory metrics.
- Ability to analyze data and drive insights.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) business models.
- Exposure to store allocation tools or supply chain systems.
