Assortment Planner

We are seeking an experienced Assortment Planner with a strong background in Retail Planning, Inventory Management, Forecasting, and Data Analysis.

This role will support planning activities across product assortments, inventory management, forecasting, pricing analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and capable of transforming data from multiple sources into actionable business insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning & Forecasting

• Support Product Forecasting and Assortment Planning activities

• Develop and maintain Sales Forecasts, Inventory Forecasts, and pricing forecasts

• Analyze forecast performance and report Forecast Variance on a weekly basis

• Support Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs), Buyer Reviews, and planning activities

• Assist with seasonal and monthly Inventory Planning processes

Inventory & Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage Inventory Management activities across product categories

• Support Markdown Planning and execution processes

• Monitor aging inventory and support closeout strategies

• Actively manage Product Lifecycle Management activities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards

• Perform Data Analysis and provide actionable business insights

• Utilize Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for reporting and analysis

• Present forecasts, reporting, and recommendations to stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with planning, merchandising, and business teams

• Organize information from multiple stakeholders and business functions

• Drive repeatable processes and operational efficiencies

• Communicate business performance and action plans effectively

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–3 years of professional experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

• Experience in Retail Planning, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, or Assortment Planning

• Experience supporting Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and Buyer Reviews

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong Forecasting, analytical, and reporting experience

• Experience with Inventory Management and Product Lifecycle Management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to organize information from multiple sources and create sustainable processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Retail industry experience

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and data visualization tools

• Experience with Data Analysis, reporting, and dashboard development

• Experience presenting business insights to leadership teams

• Previous experience in a large retail or consumer products environment
