Position Overview:
The Manager of International Tax is responsible for overseeing all global tax matters, including foreign income tax compliance, international tax audits, cross‑border tax planning, and coordination with external advisors across multiple jurisdictions. This role leads international tax reporting processes and ensures compliance with evolving global tax regulations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation and review of foreign income tax provisions, including uncertain tax positions under relevant global accounting frameworks.
- Monitor, research, and interpret international tax laws, treaties, and regulatory developments to ensure global compliance.
- Manage preparation and review of foreign tax filings and related disclosures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee international tax calculations, including controlled foreign company rules, global minimum tax regimes, and other cross‑border tax attributes.
- Lead foreign tax audits, including preparation of responses, issue management, and interactions with foreign tax authorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute international tax planning opportunities to optimize the global effective tax rate and cash tax profile.
- Oversee foreign tax account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of global tax balances.
- Manage forecasting of foreign tax expense and cash tax payments across the global footprint.
- Review complex book‑to‑tax adjustments related to foreign operations, including computations involving cross‑border income inclusions and foreign tax credits.
- Collaborate with global finance, legal, and business teams on cross‑border initiatives and international tax implications of business changes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the international tax team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance global tax compliance and reporting efficiency.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of corporate or public accounting experience with a focus on international tax matters
- Strong understanding of global tax concepts and multi‑jurisdictional compliance
- Solid understanding of multinational group structures and cross‑border taxation
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
