Job Title: Preventive Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job summary:
Preventive Maintenance Technician(s) perform scheduled inspections, servicing, and repairs on machinery, facilities, and equipment. Tasks include lubricating moving parts, replacing filters/belts, checking safety devices, diagnosing issues, and properly documenting all maintenance activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Fiix).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must follow all BRAVA Health, Safety, Security, Environmental Policies (HSSE) Procedures and Protocols including the use: Personal Protective Equipment
- Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Learning Orientation with a Continuous Improvement and Lean Mindset
- Ability to learn the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System for Work Orders. Must maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Submit Parts Requisitions for Spare Parts, Supplies, Tools.
- Perform routine services including oil changes, greasing/lubrication, filter replacements, and belt adjustments.
- Conduct inspections of equipment, building systems, and machinery to identify potential issues before they cause failures.
- Replace worn or faulty parts, tightening electrical connections, repairing hydraulic system oil leaks.
- Use diagnostic tools to analyze, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work as part of a Team as well as work as an individual

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to learn the safe troubleshooting of Extrusion, Compression Molding and Production Support Equipment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems)
- Software Proficiency (or willingness to learn): CMMS (FiiX), MS Office: Outlook, Sharepoint
Education and Experience:
- Minimum High school diploma/GED
- Vocational School
- Multi-lingual a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
- Required to stand, walk, climb stairs
- May be exposed to varying hot or cold temperatures, moving equipment, noise, dust and exhaust fumes
- On occasion non-traditional hours or overtime may be required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Daily activity includes computer and paperwork
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
