Job Title: Maintenance Technician I, II, III or IV (Depending Upon Experience) - 2nd Shift

Job summary:
Maintenance Technicians perform scheduled inspections, maintenance, trouble shooting, diagnosing, and repairs on equipment. Properly document all maintenance activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Fiix).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must follow all BRAVA Health, Safety, Security, Environmental Policies (HSSE) Procedures and Protocols including the use: Personal Protective Equipment
- Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Learning Orientation with a Continuous Improvement and Lean Mindset
- Ability to positively mentor Jr. Technicians, lead by example, and be a role model.
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, 5S, Total Productive Maintenance, Toyota Production System
- Ability to learn the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System for Work Orders (FiiX).
- Must maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Submit Requisitions for Spare Parts, Supplies, Tools.
- Conduct inspections of equipment, building systems, and machinery to identify issues before they cause failures.
- Perform routine services including oil changes, greasing/lubrication, filter replacements, and belt adjustments - replace worn or damaged parts.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Vacuum, Mechanical Systems, etc.)
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC’s, control components, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
- Experience with PdM Condition Based Monitoring Technologies including: Ultrasonic Testing, Thermographic Imaging, Vibration Monitoring, Oil Analysis, Shaft Alignment.
- Ability to use a multi-meter to test Control Circuits (24VDC) and Power Circuits (up to 480VAC).
- Perform mold changes of presses and die changes on extruders.
- HVAC & Boiler Systems Experience (Plus)

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to learn the safe troubleshooting of: Extrusion, Compression Molding and Production Support Equipment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems)
- Software Proficiency (or willingness to learn): CMMS (FiiX), MS Office: Outlook, Sharepoint
Education and Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- Vocational School (Plus)
- Multi-lingual/Spanish (Plus)
- >2 years (minimum) Industrial Maintenance Experience
- Plastic Processing: Compounding, Extrusion, Compression Molding (Preferred)
- Automation experience (Fanuc Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
- Required to stand, walk, climb stairs
- May be exposed to varying hot or cold temperatures, moving equipment, noise, dust and exhaust fumes
- On occasion non-traditional hours or overtime may be required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Daily activities includes both computer and paperwork
Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
