Medical Records Clerk Job Description
The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining residents’ electronic medical records and assisting with scheduling physician appointments and transportation. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication with residents, families, and team members.

- Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records
- Schedule physician appointments and coordinate transportation
- Communicate appointment details with residents, families, and staff
- Ensure documentation is complete and organized
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or medical records role preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Effective communication and customer service skills
