Job Summary
Assist Machine and Rental Salesmen and Sales Management with sales and marketing information primarily for Certified Rental. Orchestrate the complete rental order fulfillment process for the sale and rental of these products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report all calls in a daily call log thoroughly, follow-up on previous days’ activities with customers or rental/sales representatives, provide customers with quotes and pass on any leads to the rental /sales reps.
- Take Rental Orders from customers and sales representatives and enter in the system
- Create Rental Contracts
- Facilitate order fulfillment process by communicating with manufacturers/suppliers
- Communicate directly with branches and haulers for machine preparation, shipment, and delivery
- Follow-up invoicing and reconciliation of transactions
- Ensure proper rental procedures by working with the credit, sales and services departments on a corporate and branch level.
- Responsible for the profitable achievement of the Certified Rental budget as well as the gross margin revenue for the entire company including but not limited to:
- Inventory Distribution
- Utilization Analysis
- Lost Rental Analysis
- Relationship with Rental Alliances
- Open and Closing of Rental Contracts
- Logistics: Equipment Delivery and Transfer
- Inventory Accuracy
- Rental Credits
- Four year bachelor’s degree with a major in a business related field required
- Good understanding of the construction equipment business is not required but would be beneficial
- Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills and must possess good computer skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and haulers
- Ability to successfully pass background drug screen and physical
