This is a seasonal position located in our Louisville Branch Office
Job Summary: The Service Clerk will perform a variety of service and administrative office support functions under the direction of the Branch Service Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Bill and inventory oil and diesel fuel usage
- Assist in opening and closing customer work orders.
- Open all factory campaigns and have parts ordered for the campaign’s
- File all warranty claims direct with our vendors and process warranty credits.
- Update MSDS sheets
- Assist with technicians service reports and balance with Paycom time record system
- Answer branch calls during high volume situations.
- Open work orders and order parts for Care/lube services.
- Perform the monthly mileage report.
- Assist in scheduling technicians.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent,
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in billing, inventory and warranty claims.
- Excellent written and oral communication and basic mathematical skills.
- Proficient with a computer, including the use of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and good knowledge of office equipment.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and mechanical functions is desirable
- Ability to stoop, kneel, push, pull, twist and carry and lift up to 40lbs.
- Maintain excellent customer service
- Must be able to pass a background, physical, and drug screen
