Position Summary
The Pricebook Manager maintains the integrity of merchandise item data, product costs, retail prices, and promotions across convenience store locations. The position controls approved changes in PDI Enterprise Pricebook and verifies accurate transmission to store point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain SKU and UPC records, item descriptions, categories, pack sizes, units of measure, vendor information, costs, and retail prices.
- Process approved new items, item changes, and discontinued products.
- Maintain store-level and pricing-group changes in PDI Enterprise Pricebook.
- Set up approved promotions and verify start dates, end dates, and participating stores.
- Confirm pricebook updates transmit correctly to POS systems.
- Review vendor cost changes and flag margin issues for management.
- Resolve scanning errors, duplicate items, incorrect mappings, and pricing discrepancies.
- Partner with merchandising, purchasing, accounting, vendors, and store operations.
- Maintain approval documentation and change history.
- Perform routine pricebook quality checks and train authorized users.
- Create and maintain the Rebate Manager module in PDI Enterprise.
- Support the IT team with data transfers to vendors for cigarette rebates.
- 4 years of pricebook, item master, or retail pricing experience.
- Hands-on PDI Enterprise Pricebook experience.
- Experience with convenience store merchandising and pricing.
- Strong knowledge of UPCs, pack configurations, product costs, gross margins, and promotions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and managing large item files.
Experience supporting multiple locations and POS interfaces.
Experience leading pricebook staff or pricing projects.
