Position Summary
The HR Generalist administers day-to-day HR activities for employees and managers across multiple locations. The position supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations while maintaining accurate HRIS data and confidential documentation.
- Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Process approved new hires, transfers, pay changes, and separations in the HRIS.
- Coordinate Form I-9 completion and employment verification procedures.
- Respond to employee questions about policies, benefits, attendance, and HR processes.
- Support employee relations matters and maintain confidential documentation.
- Escalate sensitive complaints and complex issues to HR leadership.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment and qualifying life event changes.
- Track leave requests and related documentation.
- Partner with payroll to resolve employee data and timekeeping discrepancies.
- Support performance reviews, training, and employee communications.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee files.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 years of HR generalist experience.
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR records.
- Hands-on HRIS experience.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, employee relations, benefits administration, and Form I-9 requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.
ADP Workforce Now experience.
Experience supporting hourly employees across multiple locations.
PDI workforce system experience.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
