Position Summary
- Set up and operate cutting equipment (e.g., guillotine/programmable cutters) to trim printed materials to exact dimensions
- Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and trim specifications
- Measure and verify cut accuracy using rulers
- Perform routine adjustments to back gauge, blade depth, and clamping pressure
- Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic preventative maintenance (blade changes, cleaning, lubrication)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience operating industrial cutting equipment (printing or manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to read and understand job tickets and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, conversions)
- Ability to lift materials (up to ~50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Excellent attendance and can work flexible hours that will include overtime
