WORK OUTSIDE. LEARN A SKILL. SEE THE RESULTS.

Bozeman Site Services is growing and we’re building a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.

We’re hiring a Lawn and Native Spray Technician to join our Spray team.

This role focuses on applying treatments that keep lawns and native areas looking clean, healthy, and under control throughout the season. You’ll be working on residential and commercial properties, running spray equipment, and making sure applications are done safely and correctly.

If you like working outside, learning a specialized skill, and seeing the difference you make on every property, you’ll fit here.

Experience helps, but it’s not required. We train people who show up and want to work.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Apply lawn and native-area treatments according to BSS standards and product labels.

  • Learn and operate spray equipment (backpacks, hose reels, ride-on/rig units) safely.

  • Perform native area mowing and vegetation management services as assigned.

  • Run a route and complete assigned properties each day.

  • Monitor properties for weeds, turf health, and treatment needs and report issues.

  • Keep spray trucks, mowers, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and professional.

  • Record applications and completed work accurately as directed by your Spray Field Leader.

  • Work with your crew and Field Leader to complete work efficiently and safely.

  • Assist with other field operations and seasonal tasks as assigned.

WHAT MATTERS HERE

  • You show up consistently and work hard throughout the day.

  • You follow directions, labels, and safety guidelines exactly.

  • You pay attention to detail and care about doing applications the right way.

  • You respect the properties you’re on and represent BSS professionally.

  • You communicate clearly if something is unsafe, unclear, or not working..

SCHEDULE

  • Typical summer schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.

  • Schedule may adjust based on weather, application timing, and workload.

  • Overtime available during peak season when routes are busy.

  •

REQUIREMENTS

  • 18 years old.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Able to work through the spray season (through October preferred).

  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Able to perform physical work (lifting hoses, moving equipment, walking properties).

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

Strong performers have the opportunity to train in other areas of BSS, including irrigation, mowing, and other field operations.

We also operate in the winter with snow services, creating opportunities for continued work and year-round employment.

We promote from within and invest in people who take ownership of their work.

BENEFITS

  • PTO starts right away (even part-time employees).

  • Paid breaks.

  • Referral bonuses.

  • Training and development opportunities.

  • Potential for year-round employment.

  • Eligible employees:

  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance retirement match.

WHY WORK HERE

We care about the quality of our work and the people doing it.

If you take pride in what you do and want to be part of a team that holds a high standard, you’ll fit in here.
