Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Drive new business by identifying and closing sales with OEM clients
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to deal close
- Travel frequently to meet with prospects and clients
- Work closely with account managers post-sale to ensure customer success
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategy and identify new opportunities
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with key decision-makers
- Learn product offerings and warehouse operations to effectively pitch solutions
- Represent the company professionally and deliver top-tier customer service
- 5 years of experience in territory sales, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
- Proven success selling to OEMs
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and distribution processes
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong communication and closing skills
- Based in the Chicago area with flexibility to travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- CRM experience a plus
- Background in fastener sales or related manufacturing/distribution industries is preferred
- Experience in B2B distribution sales is a huge plus
