- Handle daily purchasing operations including issuing purchase orders and confirming product availability and lead times
- Serve as the main contact for domestic and international vendors
- Track and coordinate imports with freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate cost, lead time, and vendor information within company systems
- Partner with the warehouse team to receive inventory and conduct monthly counts
- Reconcile purchase orders with vendor invoices and process payments
- Prepare reports on payables, expenses, and inventory status
- Follow up on backorders, returns, and damaged goods
- Maintain organized records for vendors, purchase orders, and delivery histories
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or import logistics
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid math and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently as well as part of a team
- Customer service mindset with reliable attendance and follow-through
- Associate’s degree or equivalent business training preferred
