You will run matters end-to-end including strategy, drafting, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation and serve as a trusted day-to-day counselor on wage compliance for public works. They want a self-starter who can step in, take ownership, and perform at a high level in a collaborative, client-first team.
Salary Range: : $230,000β$270,000 / Year DOE

Mid-Senior Level Prevailing Wage Associate Responsibilities
- Advise companies on California public works and federal prevailing wage compliance
- Defend enforcement actions and individual claims before the DIR and DLSE, and litigate in state and federal courts
- Manage all phases of litigation
- Counsel clients on policies, handbooks, training, and day-to-day employment law issues related to public works
- Collaborate with partners across matters in a free-market assignment model
- Meet annual billables
- 4 - 7 years of employment litigation experience including substantial prevailing wage experience
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- Proven track record handling administrative proceedings and wage litigation
- Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Proactive, self-directed attorney who works well independently and as part of a team
