Litigation Attorney

A well-established legal firm that specializes in insurance defense, habitability cases, personal injury defense and premises liability is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join their team in San Francisco, CA! They are looking for two different candidate profiles, one focusing on 4-5 years and the other 3-7 years of litigation experience to work alongside partner attorneys with a primary focus on defense litigation. Pay Range: $130,000 - $185,000 DOE

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities

• Assist 1-2 Partners by handling a caseload of 8-30 cases, ensuring prompt and effective client communications
• Represent large companies in a variety of defense matters including habitability cases, personal injury defense, premises and product liability, while rarely handling plaintiff cases
• Conduct comprehensive case management from initiation to resolution, including all phases of litigation
• Maintain regular court appearances for motions, hearings, and other procedural necessities
• Foster client relationships through direct interaction, offering support and updates on case progress
• Work collaboratively within the firm, contributing to team efforts and supporting Partners in achieving case objectives
  
  

Requirements For Candidate Profile One

• JD from an accredited law school
• 4-5 years of experience in litigation, with defense experience highly preferred but open to experience with Personal Injury, Premises Liability, or Habitability cases
• Active California Bar membership with experience working as an attorney in CA
• Proven track record of stability in previous positions
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a confident approach
