Civil Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities
- Support 3-4 attorneys in various legal tasks
- Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and legal documents
- Manage discovery processes and requests for production
- Communicate with clients and witnesses effectively
- Assist in drafting discovery responses, briefs, and motions
- Participate in monthly staff meetings
- 5 years of experience as a legal assistant in civil litigation, primarily in commercial litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of state and federal pleadings and filings
- Strong technical skills
- Employment law experience is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
