Billing Specialist Responsibilities
- Prepare and review client invoices
- Process hourly, flat fee, and contingency arrangements
- Ensure bills are processed by the first Monday of each month and issued by the 10th
- Communicate with attorneys to clarify billing questions
- Update bills and status in the Elite 3E system
- Ensure compliance with billing standards
- Manage the issuance of approximately 3,000 bills per month, with around 1,000 e-billed
- Two years of billing experience
- Knowledge of eBilling software is required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with other Office applications
- Law firm experience is preferred
- Elite 3E knowledge is preferred
- Experience with LEDES billing is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Parking structure connected to the building, covered by the firm
