Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Lead daily and weekly reconciliation and monthly close outs
- Prepare materials for quarterly management meetings
- Manage a team of 5 direct reports, including 2 Accounts Payable and 3 Accounts Receivable members
- Oversee month-end close processes
- Handle cash management and general ledger activity
- Utilize Nivision and Excel for reporting, including pulling data and building reports with formulas and pivot tables
- Delegate work and develop team members
- Travel to multiple U.S. sites as needed for operations support and training
- Support purchase order process training at other locations
- Communicate effectively with operations managers and leadership
- Strong Excel user, capable of pivot tables and formulas
- 5 years as the lead accounting and finance professional, managing a minimum of 2 people in a high-volume environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required
- Experience with reconciliation and monthly close-outs
- Proficient in cash management
- Ability to perform general ledger posts
- Strong delegation skills to empower a team
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred
