We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This part-time, remote role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working independently, thrives in a small firm environment, and has extensive experience in QuickBooks Online. You’ll play a key role in managing monthly activity and producing accurate, timely financial statements for a growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Review monthly GL activity and ensure accuracy of entries
- Review and reconcile all balance sheet accounts for each assigned entity
- Review and finalize monthly financial statements for each entity
- Meet with small business owners to discuss their financial statements
- Maintain and manage records in QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with team members and clients on financial insights and deliverables
- Support process improvements and scalable accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA or CPA candidate (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- A self-starter mindset with a collaborative spirit
