Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Athletic Center and the surrounding grounds
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Clean mirrors, glass, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop as needed
- Clean and organize indoor rooms and storage areas
- Maintain outdoor spaces, including tennis courts and pool areas
- Leaf blow tennis courts and the surrounding areas
- Clean outdoor tables and snack bar touchpoints
- Restock supplies and vending inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and report low supplies
- Assist with seasonal pool setup and winterization
- Vacuum pools as needed
- Check pool chemicals and report any imbalances immediately
- Support Certified Pool Operators (CPOs) with projects
- Assist with setup for member events (including light manual labor)
- Support the Facilities team with maintenance projects
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the Athletic Director
- Ensure misplaced items are returned to proper storage areas
- Greet members in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer questions or direct members to the appropriate staff
- Assist front desk staff as needed
- Help prepare smoothies and restock smoothie bar items
- Answer phones and route calls appropriately
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 months of related experience (cleaning, customer service, or landscaping) preferred
- Ability to follow simple instructions and communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- CPO certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to head height
- Frequent bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
