What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-commerce & Digital Operations Assistant position at BOTACH INC?
E-commerce & Digital Operations Assistant
BOTACH INC | Full-time, in person | 4775 W Harmon Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89103
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on demonstrated skills. No company-sponsored benefits package.
THE JOB
Join the team working directly with our CTO to keep Botach's online business moving. Your work will span e-commerce listings, website updates, basic SEO, social media, and a changing mix of digital projects. One day you might fix product information; another, prepare social content, test a website update, or help the CTO work through a new project. Botach sells tactical, outdoor, and firearms-related products.
TRAINING PROVIDED
We will train you on our tools, workflows, basic SEO, social media tasks, and other responsibilities as you learn the business. You do not need to arrive as an expert. We need curiosity, effort, sound judgment, and follow-through.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Create and update product listings, descriptions, specifications, categories, variants, images, and catalog data across our website and marketplaces.
- Help with website content and basic SEO tasks, such as improving page titles, product copy, image descriptions, and links, using our guidance.
- Help prepare, organize, and publish approved social media content, including product photos, captions, and simple promotional material.
- Support the CTO with research, spreadsheets, organizing information, testing tools and website changes, troubleshooting routine issues, and other digital projects as priorities change.
- Learn our BigCommerce, Amazon, eBay, and Walmart workflows. Check source information instead of guessing product facts.
- Check prices and discounts against approved costs and margin rules before publishing. If something would sell below cost or exceeds an approved limit, stop and raise it for review.
- Check the live result after an update. Catch incorrect prices, wrong images, broken links, formatting errors, and missing information.
- Track your tasks through completion. Follow up on missing answers and approvals, make blockers visible, and clarify priorities when requests compete.
- Document what you learn and suggest practical improvements.
WHAT GOOD WORK LOOKS LIKE
You read the full request, think about whether it makes sense, and check your work. A task is not finished just because you clicked publish or sent a message. You catch obvious mistakes, ask useful questions, and keep things moving without repeated reminders. You stay within approved pricing, publishing, and spending limits.
WHAT YOU BRING
Comfort using a computer, clear writing, attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a willingness to learn and take ownership. You should enjoy varied work and learning new tools. No degree or prior professional experience in e-commerce, SEO, social media, or technology is required. Personal projects, online selling, organizing information, or helping someone solve a problem can all demonstrate useful skills.
HOW TO APPLY
Send your resume or a short summary of your skills. Include one example of something you learned, improved, organized, or completed, and explain how you checked the result. This position requires working at our Las Vegas location.
