Our client, a highly respected international law firm, is seeking a Senior Resource Coordinator to join their Research Services Department (formerly the Library). This is an exciting opportunity to support a collaborative, global team that plays a vital role in managing the firm’s research collections and vendor relationships across multiple offices.
About the Role
The Senior Resource Coordinator supports firmwide research operations by managing print and electronic collections, vendor communications, and invoice processing. This position blends analytical, administrative, and client-service skills in a professional environment that values attention to detail and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage acquisitions, serials control, and collection services for assigned offices.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships; resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Research, purchase, and process approved print and digital materials.
- Process and code invoices, allocate client-matter charges, and maintain acquisition records.
- Maintain serials data, routing lists, and holdings in the firm’s integrated library system.
- Oversee print collection organization, shelving, filing, and withdrawal of outdated materials.
- Support firmwide collection reviews and attorney onboarding/offboarding as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; business, accounting, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in library technical services or resource management (law or business library experience preferred).
- Familiarity with legal/business publications and integrated library systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team mindset.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
Compensation: $63,000–$79,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) overtime eligibility discretionary annual bonus
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Washington, DC; 2 remote)
