Job Summary

Under general supervision, assist the school in caring for the health needs of students; provide clerical assistance at assigned sites; maintain health records and files as a priority of the position; perform related work required.

Requirements / Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Health and safety regulations.
• Record-keeping techniques.
• Modern office methods, procedures and equipment.
• Blood Borne Pathogen Exposure Control.
• Ability to read an Immunization Record
• Recognition of basic symptoms of communicable disease and childhood illness
• Computer usage of school district software programs EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Current certificate for basic First Aid and CPR.
