BASIC FUNCTION: Under supervision, maintain food services facilities and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition; set up and serve food.

Requirements / Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Methods of heating, storing and preparing related food items
• Sanitation and safety principles applicable to food serving and kitchen maintenance
• Basic kitchen utensils and equipment EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School or equivalent
• Some experience in quantity food preparation and kitchen maintenance is desirable REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Food Handler's Certificate
