Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Prepare sauces as per recipe, make pizzas, clean dishes and keep kitchen and utensils clean
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, communicating needs to management.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service and meal preparation.
- Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
- A background in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in food service, including cooking, food handling, and meal preparation.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen equipment is essential.
- Experience in catering services is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
