- Creating a warm, comfortable experience for patients
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Providing efficient chairside assistance, including instrument transfer and suction
- Taking and processing digital X-rays
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
- Documenting dental services and maintaining accurate records
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintaining equipment, organizing operatories, and monitoring supplies
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth patient flow
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred
- Current CT Dental Assistant credentials; CPR certification
- 2 years of dental office experience and chairside assisting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills
- Dependable, collaborative, and adaptable in a busy environment
- Experience with Dentrix and assisting dental specialists is a plus
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to patient care and clinical excellence
- Flexibility to fit full-time or part-time schedules within practice hours
