Senior Vice President of Marketing
**Position Overview**
The Senior Vice President of Marketing is responsible for formulating and executing the company's global or regional marketing strategies. This role oversees brand building, market communications, digital marketing, product marketing, and customer growth frameworks. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position serves as one of the company's highest-level marketing decision-makers, with the core objective of driving a dual increase in both brand equity and business revenue.
**Core Responsibilities**
**Overall Marketing Strategy**
Formulate the company's overarching marketing strategy, ensuring strong alignment between brand positioning and business objectives. Continuously optimize growth strategies and brand direction in response to changes in the market and competitive landscape, driving market share expansion and revenue growth.
**Brand Building & Management**
Assume full responsibility for brand strategic planning and brand asset development, ensuring brand consistency and impact across global or target markets. Manage brand positioning, visual identity systems, and communication tone to enhance brand awareness and reinforce a premium brand image.
**Demand Generation & Growth**
Build an end-to-end growth ecosystem encompassing lead acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention. Design and optimize the marketing funnel to improve customer acquisition efficiency and maximize Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
**Digital Marketing & Data-Driven Decision-Making**
Lead the digital marketing function, including Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media, content marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising campaigns. Optimize marketing ROI through data analytics and A/B testing to achieve precision-driven growth management.
**Product Marketing**
Responsible for product market positioning and go-to-market strategies, defining key selling points and target user segments. Collaborate closely with Product and Sales teams to drive successful product commercialization and market penetration.
**Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC)**
Orchestrate integrated online and offline marketing campaigns—including advertising, public relations (PR), events, content, and partnership marketing—to ensure message consistency across multiple channels and enhance overall communication effectiveness.
**Team Management & Organizational Development**
Lead global or regional marketing teams, including Brand, Digital Marketing, Content, PR, and Growth functions. Establish a high-performance organizational structure, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop talent growth paths.
**Budget & Resource Management**
Manage the allocation of substantial marketing budgets, optimizing the Return on Investment (ROI) for each channel. Ensure that marketing investments are tightly aligned with the company's growth objectives while continuously driving operational efficiency.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive leadership teams to ensure seamless alignment between marketing strategies and business execution. Support the achievement of sales growth targets and drive the optimization of the overall commercial closed-loop process.
**Job Requirements**
**Education**
Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
**Work Experience**
15 years of experience in marketing-related roles, including at least 5 years of experience at the Senior Vice President level or an equivalent senior management position. Experience working in global enterprises or high-growth companies is preferred.
