What are the responsibilities and job description for the Luxury Sales, Strategy & Innovation position at Bob's Watches?
Overview:
Bob’s Watches is seeking a forward-thinking leader to drive the next phase of growth in our luxury watch business. This is not a traditional sales management role, you will be expected to bring new ideas, challenge existing processes, and build scalable systems across both sales and eCommerce.
As a key leader in the company, you will oversee sales performance while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, optimize our eCommerce experience, and elevate how we engage with high-end clients across digital and in-person channels.
You will work closely with the VP of Operations and Purchasing Manager to implement strategies that increase revenue, streamline operations, and position the company for long-term, scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing luxury sales team
- Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Sales & Growth Strategy
- Own and evolve the company’s sales strategy across eCommerce and in-store channels
- Identify new revenue opportunities and implement ideas that drive measurable growth
eCommerce Optimization
- Improve online customer journey, conversion rates, and retention strategies
- Collaborate on pricing, merchandising, and digital sales strategies
Automation & Systems Thinking
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation tools and workflows (CRM, follow-ups, lead handling, etc.)
- Build scalable systems that reduce manual work and improve team productivity
Performance & Analytics
- Track and analyze KPIs across sales and eCommerce performance
- Use data to drive decisions and continuously refine strategy
Customer Experience Innovation
- Elevate the luxury buying experience across all touchpoints
- Introduce new approaches to client engagement, personalization, and retention
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months):
- Implemented new systems or automation that improve efficiency
- Increased sales performance through both team development and process improvements
- Introduced and executed new ideas that positively impact revenue or customer experience
- Strengthened alignment between sales operations and eCommerce strategy
Requirements:
- 5 years of sales leadership experience (luxury, eCommerce, or high-ticket sales preferred)
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital sales environments
- Experience with automation tools, CRM systems, or process optimization
- Proven ability to introduce new ideas and improve business performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making ability
- Passion for luxury watches (experience with high-end timepieces such as Rolex is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Monday–Friday, full-time, in-office role (no remote work)
