This role focuses on process quality, problem solving, and working closely with production teams to reduce defects and improve overall performance.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain process control plans
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support internal and customer quality issues
- Analyze production data to improve yield and reduce defects
- Assist with new product launches and quality planning
- Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
- Support customer visits and quality discussions
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
- Help train teams on quality processes and best practices
- Experience in a manufacturing quality role
- Background working with automotive or regulated quality systems
- Familiar with ISO standards and quality processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Comfortable working on the floor and with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and quality tools
- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical manufacturing processes
- Certifications in quality are a plus
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor
- Exposure to equipment, noise, and production activity
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
