We are seeking a dynamic Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our safety and environmental compliance initiatives across our manufacturing operations. In this critical leadership role, you won't just be checking boxes—you will be a strategic partner to plant leadership, supervisors, and front-line employees, ensuring our facility operates at the highest standards of occupational safety and environmental stewardship.
If you are a collaborative leader who excels at risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and mentoring teams within a fast-paced industrial environment, we want you to help us build a world-class safety culture.
What You Will Do
Environmental Stewardship & Compliance
- Drive Environmental Excellence: Lead and manage comprehensive environmental compliance programs adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Regulatory Reporting: Oversee and execute EPCRA Tier II chemical inventory reporting, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) submissions, and other critical regulatory reporting.
- Permit & Plan Management: Maintain and administer the facility's Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan, as well as industrial stormwater (NPDES) and wastewater discharge permits.
- Waste Management: Champion RCRA hazardous waste management programs (SQG/LQG), overseeing waste storage, inspections, manifesting, and comprehensive employee training.

Occupational Safety Leadership
- Hazard Mitigation: Partner with operations leadership to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Incident Resolution: Lead comprehensive incident investigations utilizing root cause analysis to implement effective, preventative solutions.
- Program Development: Design and deploy robust safety programs aligned with OSHA standards, Hazard Communication (HAZCOM), and industry best practices.
- Continuous Monitoring: Oversee rigorous workplace inspections, risk assessments, and the proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Culture Building & Team Development
- Safety Culture Champion: Promote a "safety-first" mindset, partnering with area managers to seamlessly integrate safe work practices into daily operations.
- Operational Excellence: Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and lean manufacturing practices, to drive both safety and efficiency.
- Mentorship: Lead, develop, and mentor EHS specialists and cross-functional safety teams, building a pipeline of safety champions throughout the facility.
- Employee Engagement: Facilitate training programs and engage employees at all levels to foster active participation in hazard identification and safety initiatives.
