Bluewater is seeking a persistent, diligent, and highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for a hard-charging individual driven by the potential for growth, the ability to make an impact, and the financial incentives associated with their commission earnings. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing surplus new and used battery, solar, and renewable energy equipment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and a strong aptitude for vendor relations and negotiation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, onboard, and build relationships with vendors through proactive prospecting and outreach efforts
Communicate the value and benefits of Bluewater's services through cold calling, email campaigns, and virtual meetings
Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, tracking available inventory and securing optimal pricing for each party involved
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements for Bluewater’s customers
Compile and maintain a database of potential purchasing opportunities, tracking project details, timelines, and key contacts within a CRM software
Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and deal documentation for customers and vendors, clearly outlining pricing and terms
Finalize contracts and purchase agreements, ensuring that pricing, services, and terms align with the needs of both Bluewater and our clients
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with Bluewater’s business goals, forecasting supply needs and market opportunities
Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience in sales, procurement, supply chain management or other relevant fields
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in a B2B sales role is preferred but not required
Exposure to cold outreach (cold calling, email campaigns, etc.)
Track record of achieving professional goals
Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Willingness to travel as needed for industry events (conferences, trade shows, client visits, etc.)
