Bluewater is excited to welcome a proactive and motivated Business Development Associate to our Energy Storage and Solar team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging new clients through cold outreach, building and maintaining relationships with Bluewater customers, and generating revenue within your vertical. This is a great opportunity for driven, diligent individuals who enjoy collaborating and have a knack for creative problem solving.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively seek new business through prospecting, cold calling, and other methods of outreach
Qualify leads and conduct market research to identify potential customers
Serve as an integral part of the sales process, maintaining a pipeline of leads while tracking ongoing deals within a CRM software
Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and end users
Generate quotes, purchase orders, and proposals which are accurate to the scope of each project
Work with clients to understand their unique pain points and creatively outline custom solutions based on Bluewater’s services
Become a subject matter expert in relation to large format lithium-ion batteries, battery recycling, repurposing / reuse, and other services that are offered by Bluewater
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that the pricing, services agreed upon, and terms of agreement are favorable to each party involved
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
0-3 years of experience in sales
Sales training and CRM experience are a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and diligent with a self-motivated approach to business development
Strong organizational and project management skillset
Willingness to travel to industry trade shows and events
Results-driven with a passion for achieving ambitious sales targets
