Job Description
We’re hiring a Dishwasher & Prep Cook to join our small, ambitious Roman‑style pizza kitchen. This is an entry‑level position ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about food, eager to learn, and interested in growing a long‑term culinary career. You’ll start by building a strong foundation in prep cooking while assisting our pizzaiolo and supporting the back‑of‑house team.
Because we’re a tight‑knit operation, this role works across the board—but your primary focus will be BOH prep and pizza support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards (sauces, vegetables, cheeses, toppings)
- Assist the pizzaiolo with prep, station setup, and service support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all BOH areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage guidelines (FIFO, labeling, proper handling)
- Help with additional BOH tasks as needed, including light dish and restocking
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while staying detail‑oriented
- Be a positive, dependable team member in a small kitchen
